Advanced cryogenic distillation technology is used in the fabricating and the plant is able to generate oxygen with purity up to 99.7%, which is sufficient for medical applications. How the medical oxygen plant functions?
Our medical oxygen plant takes atmospheric air which is then compressed inside the air separation unit. Afterwards, the air is taken into the molecular sieves where impurities like moisture, carbon dioxide and hydrocarbons are eliminated. Thereafter, the air is directed into a heat exchanger where it is cooled to very low temperatures. After being cryogenically cooled, the air is moved through high pressure distillation column where oxygen is separated from nitrogen and other gases. Oxygen gets formed at the top of the column which is collected and moved into a low pressure distillation column where it is distilled to commercial specifications.
