With an objective of bringing latest technology of manufacturing oxygen/ nitrogen generating systems in India, Mr. Sanjiv Agarwal established Uiversal Industrial Plants Manufacturing Co. In order to achieve this objective Mr. Agarwal, a qualified chemical engineer, worked in very close association with Dr. Boschi of Italy. Dr. Boschi's technology of manufacturing nitrogen/ oxygen generating systems was a well established and proven technology in the European markets. The first oxygen plant manufactured and commissioned by Universal in 1985 was based on the ING. L. & A. Boschi technology.

Since then Universal has manufactured and commissioned several plants in the national and international market successfully. Dr. Boschi's regular visit to our company in Delhi has continuously contributed in the overall performance of our plants and the company alike.

During his 1990 visit to Universal Dr. Boschi, in a press conference at NEW Delhi, publicly announced and certified Universal as an accredited manufacture of Boschi Brand oxygen and nitrogen generation plants for exporting to Italy.

Universal alongwith Boschi started manufacturing oxygen/ nitrogen and acetylene plants initially in technical collaboration of BOSCHI Italy in 1985 at New Delhi and Genova Italy.
ING L & A BOSCHI is one of the oldest design companies in the world since 1930 in Europe and has a long and rich experience.
Dr. BOSCHI was associated with the designing invention of the Air Separation Technology with Linde in Europe.
BOSCHI design oxygen & nitrogen generating plants are working trouble free worldwide in over 40 countries.
BOSCHI air separation are argon welded and engineered to perfection.
Dr. BOSCHI introduced the concept of expansion engines and liquid oxygen pump in small sized plants to reduce working pressure and power consumption
